Day 1: 15.03.2026. Arrival day, Citysightseeing Oslo, Heddal Stavechurch
Easiest way from airport to Oslo Sentral Stasjon (Oslo S) or Skøyen stasjon is to catch Airport Expresstrain or the regular train (almost half price) operated by Vy. Ticketmachine at airport or download Vy app.
Citysightseeing Oslo: Our plan is to start the tour at 12.30 and we meet outside (Fjordside) Skøyen trainstasjon. Catch Vy-train or Airport Express from Airport. If already in Oslo, please leave your luggage at the hotel and we’ll pick it up after the Citytour.
We’ll serve you coffee/tea/juice and a ham&cheese sandwich.

-Discover the quite compact citycentre on a Guided Biketour. Some hills of course but a relatively flat tour.
During the biketour (duration 2,5 – 3 hours) we will pass, (and it will be short stops at several of), following attractions:
The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet
Akershus Fortress & Akershus Castle
Vigeland Sculpture Park & Frogner Park
The Royal Palace with Park
After the sightseeingtour, we are heading for Gausta with a fastfoodstop and also a stop at Heddal Stavechurch.

Day 2 -4 16.03 – 18.03 2026: Skiing days.
Check link Gausta skicenter with 37 slopes. Open daily from 10:00 – 16:30, Tuesday also 16:30 – 20:00
We`ll checkout the Floating Saunas, and of course you must go for a swim!!!
Day 2 Monday 16.03

10:00 – 16:30, Skiing Day
13:00 – 14:00, Lunch in Grill Hut, drinks by your own.
From 15:00, Afterski in cabin
18:00 – 19:00, Floating Sauna, bring swimwear and a towel. We leave cabin at 17:30 and we can use the SPA at Gaustablikk Fjellresort before & after the Sauna.
20:15, A 3-course dinner at Gaustablikk Fjellresort. Drinks by your own.
Day 3 Tuesday 17.03
07:00 – 10:00, Breakfast at Gaustablikk Fjellresort. You have your name on a list called “GaustaGFL26”.
10:00 – 16:30, Skiing Day
Lunch by your own.
12:45, Optional tour down to Rjukan (UNESCO) will be available and includes: Stops/Entrance at The Giant Sunmirrors , Heavy Water Cellar/Wemork (ticket 250 NOK) and a short walk along the Saboteur´s trail and more. Departure from cabin and we estimate to be back at 17:30.

19:00, Dinner in cabin, drinks by your own
Day 4 Wednesday 18.03

10:00 – 16:30, Skiing Day
13:00 – 14:00, Lunch in Grill Hut, drinks by your own.
From 15:00, Afterski in cabin

Day 5, 19.03.2026 Gaustabanen to top of Gaustatoppen and Departure Day.
07:00 – 08:30, Breakfast at Gaustablikk Fjellresort. You have your name on a list called “GaustaGFL26”.
08:30 – 09:00, Check out
09:00 Departure from cabin to Gaustabanen and Gaustatoppen.
In good weather you have a panoramic view from top of Gaustatoppen and can see almost 1/6 of Norway. At the top you can enjoy a cup of coffee and the legendary Gaustatoppen Waffel at Turisthytten. We also cross fingers for good snow conditions and the possibility to go skiing down the newly reopened Gaustaløypen (see blue line). You can of course choose to catch Gaustabanen down to the waiting bus.
Down at Rjukan we`ll head inbound Oslo with a fast food stop, find a train station (probably Asker) and then Kiss & Goodbye!! We plan to be at trainstation around 16.00 and you`ll arrive Oslo/Gardermoen airport by train around 17.00.

The package of GAUSTA includes the following items:
- Transport in Minibuss. Traintickets to/from airport to Oslo area are on your own.
- Guided Citysightseeingtour Oslo by bike. Please bring own helmet. Note! Bikerental is not included. Download Oslo City Bike App for payment.
- 4 nights in cabin (two-, three- or four- bedroom)
Total of 4 Breakfasts & 3 Dinners. No drinks included - Skipass for Gausta 3 days.
- Returnticket Gaustabanen.
- 1 hour Floating Sauna and 1 hour Shuffleboard.

Cancellation:
If you wish to cancel your registration to GAUSTA 2026, the following cancellation charges apply per person:
until 30 October: 3000 NOK
after 30 October: no refund
-If you wish to cancel and have found somebody to take over your spot or from a potential waiting list, no cancellation charges apply.
